Welcome to this web site and thank you for visiting. My name is Gwen and you might know me best for founding Weigh Down or Remnant Fellowship Churches. I pray that you find this very informative - and I hope to get to know each of you better. When someone is seeking God, you feel so one with them -- you are so one in spirit! Most of you have known me or this ministry - THE WEIGH DOWN WORKSHOP - for years. How wonderful it has been to help people find the freedom of eating God's way and losing all their weight permanently. Nothing besides having a blessed marriage and children and grandchildren has been more fulfilling in life! I have such a passion for God to rule all and for all mankind to give him the attention and honor and acknowledgement that He deserves.
 As many of you know, I have felt God's calling to make HIM and His will known - and there is nothing like giving God your whole heart, soul, mind and strength! I have FOUND that by putting God first in everything in my life, the blessings that follow are boundless. I started a small ministry, The Weigh Down Workshop in 1986 ... and it was in that ministry that taught basic obedience to God Almighty that I found my calling to spread hope to the world. God has shown me the truth of His words that are all throughout the Bible -- that obedience to God is essential for salvation, and that blessings abound for those that choose to obey God. I personally tried this in my own life, following Jesus in every way that I could and especially as Jesus said, "Not my will, but YOURS be done..." I want the world to know that by obeying God's lead in every little and big thing... God has come back in to give me a true PEACE, a true joy, and a true hope to keep living and pass this on to the next generation and to all of the world.
 Here is the HOPE: Everyone can have the blessings that I have been given by obeying and putting GOD first - EVERYONE! My marriage is blessed (I have been happily married for over 30 years now)... My children are blessed and they WANT to stay around me and be with family... My grandchildren are learning obedience and blessings from birth... and because of that, they are blessed and happy!! I have had my weight off since College and I have no fear of gaining it back. I do not need any drugs or anti-depressants to keep me happy... And my prayers ARE truly answered!! God has done all of this for me, and He would give it to anyone and everyone that is willing to obey His will.
 After years of the Weigh Down ministry, I felt God's leading to start a small, humble church [The Remnant Fellowship International -- or you can call it Remnant Fellowship]-- a group of people that wanted to put God first. This church has now grown -- and the fruit of this church is amazing... Marriages are back together, children are obedient to their parents, greed has left the hearts of man, and peace and joy are present. We long to gather together every week in order to find more of what God wants.
We have continued to fall more and more in love with God on a daily basis - my relationship with Him is everything to me. You could take my house, my clothes, all of my material possesions -- and none of it would matter if I was able to keep my loving relationship with God Almighty. He is everything - from the time I wake up until the time I put my head on my pillow. I have a holy respect and fear for His awesome power and I long to find what He wants so that I can put it into practice.

As you learn more and more about me and what I stand for, you should know that I am following in the blessed footsteps of Jesus Christ who said, "I want the world to know that I LOVE the Father, and I do exactly what the Father tells me to do..."
